5. Q. How does car delivery service from auto transporters work?

A. After you book your car delivery order, your automobile will be scheduled to be picked up by an auto transport carrier with the date you chose.  Shortly after you will receive a phone call from the auto transporters that will be picking up your car and they will give you a more exact time in which they will be in your location to pick up your vehicle.
Note: It is recommended giving car transporters more then one phone number as to make sure they can reach you when they call.
Once the car transport company gets to your location they will inspect your vehicle for any damage. Auto transporters make note of all physical damage such as dents and scratches, then mark it on a bill of lading. The bill of lading is a form that states what condition your vehicle is in and you are required to sign this document before auto transporters will load up your automobile onto the truck carrier.
After your vehicle gets to its delivery location, auto transporters will present this document again so you can compare the physical shape of your vehicle from when it was picked up and delivered.  This is helpful to vehicle shipping companies because a lot of individuals may forget for example, that their automobile had a small scratch or dent and this way everything is noted and signed by you before the auto transporters leave your pick up location.
Don’t forget, if you do notice new damage to your vehicle, it is very important that you note it on the bill of lading and have the car transport driver sign off on it in agreement. Most vehicle shipping companies will not except a claim from you if you notice the damage after the car transport carrier leaves and did not get the transporter to sign in knowledge of agreement.
Note: Taking pictures of your vehicle before it gets loaded and unloaded onto the car transporting carrier is a good idea. Also inspect your automobile thoroughly when it arrives and note any damage on the bill of lading and have the vehicle transportation company to sign it.
